「It was exactly what we had hoped. The private balcony right over the water, getting lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean. The room was beautiful and very clean. They had great products in the bathroom. The bar and restaurant were lovely but we also could walk to some other local spots. We would definitely stay there again!! Thank you to the staff!!」

「Simple hotel, not fancy, even though it is in need of repair it was perfect for my family of 11. We reserved 4 rooms. Very clean, nice and comfortable beds. Very affordable, the beach was perfect, and the ferry was very reliable.」

「We had a great stay at The Fred! The room was on the smaller side, but perfectly comfortable for a couple. The hotel has a fun, vibrant vibe with great amenities. The pool area was really nice, and the view from the terrace was beautiful—especially around sunset. Even though we visited past peak season (so it wasn't busy) we were treated so well by the staff. Food and drinks were top-notch. 「We just got back from staying in the Sunset Suite at VH with our family of 4. We loved the quirkiness of the house, built in the late 18th century so it has wonky floors, but it gives it character. The 2 bedrooms are the only rooms with A/C so be prepared for the living room, kitchen and bathroom to be a lil toasty. We did ask for an extra box fan, which they kindly provided.
