Good location, friendly staff and clean. The bathroom door is not sound, if you’re sharing a room and you’re shy you might be uncomfortable. Unable to swim at the private beach but they have a nice pool. Onsite restaurant was good, not a lot of options however, keep in mind it’s an island and deliveries can be slower. The staff was great.

Our room was nice and comfortable. Refrigerator and air conditioner were cold. The views from our room were incredible. The property was beautiful. The pool area and deep end bar/restaurant were convenient and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again!

The Tamarind Reef Resort has the potential to be great. The views are incredible, the pool is huge and well taken care of and the restaurant has decent food. They have great bartenders and servers that work at the Deep End bar and restaurant. The rooms could use a serious deep clean and the utensils, pans, cooking supplies need a major upgrade. The coffee pot leaks all over, the one pan really needs to be tossed. The resort offers laundry service on their website but that's not the case. There was stains on the sheets. The off white plastic trashcan is so dirty. There is a rusted out safe in the room that doesn't work. It truly is a bunch of little things that need some attention. It could be a really nice resort but there is obviously some neglect that should be taken care of.

Although some things were a bit dated or weatherworn (windows), this is a beautiful property with lovely landscaping, about a narrow beach on the North shore of St. Croix. There is a very good restaurant adjacent to the pool and beach, both of which are lovely spots to spend a day. We made use of the kayaks to paddle out from the marina, which was a lovely experience. Be aware, though, that there is no swimming or even kayaking up to the beaches, as there is a line of reef teeming with spiny sea urchins right along most of the beaches. However, the facilities are very pretty, the staff is responsive, and the staff are nice. The restaurant has just changed hands, so look for recent reviews.

The room was clean. The staff was mostly great. There was one person who wasn’t very friendly. There was a battery operated safe in the room that kept beeping at 3am our last night that was very annoying. The room was huge and felt empty because it needs a sitting area and would feel more homey. Also some art on the walls would be more welcoming.

Rooms were average. Could be cleaned more thoroughly. We really only used it as a place to sleep. There’s not really a beach on the hotel, it’s blocked by rocks but is still a relaxing atmosphere. This hotel is best to stay at if you’re renting a car or paying taxis to take you to other spots. Restaurant on site was also average and could use some improvements to the menu and preparation. Overall affordable and nice staff, so if you’re looking to save money this is fine. But if you want a nicer more current hotel with a beach this is not the place to book.

The hotel is old but clean. Could use some updating and repair, but you cannot beat the view of Green Key and the Caribbean from the rooms. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Having a kitchenette meant we could bring back leftovers and have lunch in the room is we wanted. Deep End Restaurant and Bar on Property is decent for breakfast and the Friday night Dinner and Show was very enjoyable. Again, the staff, as well as locals who come to Happy Hour, are friendly and helpful to visitors and they are looking forward to new management taking over as of February.

Most of the staff was very friendly. The rooms are dated. The first room I was in, the sliding door handle broke off in my hand the first time I opened it to get a look at the water. The second room's hair dryer didn’t work. I stayed four nights and my room was never cleaned once, nor were any towels offered, and I dod not have a please do not disturb sign on my door, so plenty of opportunity to have it cleaned. Nice location on the beach though, which is truly what the goal was.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here at the Tamarind Reef Resort. We loved the staff and the Deep End Bar and Grill was phenomenal!! Chance, the bartender, took great care of us when we would visit. We loved talking with him and Mark any time that we could. Jesus and the rest of the kitchen staff did an excellent job each time. We cannot recommend coming to this hotel enough and hope to be back next year!

staff was excellent, place is a run-down motel, not a resort inaccessible beach, kiddie pool, far away from town, restaurants and all activities Needs an update & deep clean! Taxis very expensive to go everywhere. MUST rent a car!!! Beware, they drive US cars on the opposite side of the road from the states. Hotel was dead, empty. Town had not much but goods imported from India and Bangladesh. Not a good destination. I would like a refund. This was no vacation.
