Loved breakfast by the ocean, so lovely. Pool in excellent shape and super clean. Room also new and clean! Property is doing a good job of continuing to improve! WiFi also very good.

Very quiet, remote part of the island. Beach and forecast beautiful!! Sea turtles even laid their eggs on the beach. The beach is not swimmable, unfortunately. But that is not on the hotel! Highly recommend!

Beach was very rocky and not swimmable. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. But staff was amazing and very friendly! Views were amazing! Food at every restaurant was delicious!

My fiancé and I stayed 3 nights here in March and while I wouldn't call it a 5-star hotel, we had an excellent experience. Something to consider when staying here is that it is located about 40 minutes away from the main city area (Christiansted) and the roads leading up the hotel get narrow and the cell service gets shotty. The drive is so far out that some Uber drivers decline your ride because they do not want to drive out that far. I would def let them drive instead of renting if you are from the US. -- but with that distance comes privacy and very nice mountain/beach views! So just know what you are getting! Also, the beach access at the resort is pretty much non-existent. The waves are there, but the beach is not -- it is a shore of mostly rocks. But the food at the restaurants was really good!! And they had someone playing live music during dinner every night. The staff (Muffs, Malcom and Luis) were great. We enjoyed meeting and conversing with them at various points during the day and at the bar. I enjoyed looking off into the beach and sunset, and the privacy of this resort compared to others on the island is noteworthy. If you want to be out of the hussle and bussle and just enjoy some quiet island time -- I would recommend Grapetree.

My wife and I stayed at the Grapetree for a week and we absolutely loved the place! It was perfect, it was away from the noise and crowd of Christiansted and Frederiksted. The room was perfect for the two of us, the food was fantastic and the staff was very welcoming. Definitely rent a car because the hotel is far from all the attractions and beaches.

The staff is excellent at this resort. The food is excellent and the rooms are spotless. The pool is very nice with great views. There isn't any beach to sit on. You can walk a little distance with shoes, it's very rocky, but beautiful. You need a car at this resort due to the location because there isn't much close by but it's a very relaxing resort.

Beautiful very large room which was spotless. Courteous and helpful staff. Great food for several meals, and good music one night. It appears the place is renovating, and hopefully renovations continue and this resort succeeds. We were among only a handful of guests so the resort was nice and quiet, but they’ll need more guests to have the resort succeed. There is not a usable beach, but there are other places close by to enjoy a beach. We were glad to spend 2 nights on the east end of the island (so different from other areas of St. Croix), and we were glad to stay at the Grapetree.

breakfast was not free but rather expensive only 1 restaurant open and I think we were the only ones staying there. its far away from everything cant swim or walk on the beach by hotel what you show when booking is not correct. It was a pretty place and people nice room nice but nothing else to offer no activities no music not much to eat had to go and find places

Grapetree embodies everything great about St Croix: friendly, quiet, clean, beautiful. We were only supposed to stay 3 nights but because of the military action in Venezuela, we were there EIGHT nights. The staff was amazing. They made a difficult situation a lifetime positive memory.
