「Truly, this property is stunning. I can't imagine it is possible to have a room with a bigger balcony or better view anywhere else on St. Croix. For privacy, The Waves gets an A++ and the onsite restaurant, AMA, is spectacular. That being said, after our initial awe, we did run into some frustrations. 「The property is close to town and has a great view. However, it is in desperate need of a complete remodel. We stayed in an oceanfront king. The bed is actually a queen The room reeked of cleaning chemicals to the point of making your eyes water. There was barely a trickle of luke warm water in the shower. The cable went out and never came back on, the light on the balcony didn't work, the coffee machine was clogged and blew hot coffee throughout the room, and the hair dryer actually blew up...

「From the time we booked to checkout, the experience was absolutely excellent. Delia ensured we had everything we needed even before we areived. During our stay Melissa, Angela, Paula and I know I'm leaving someone out provided a great bar and good experience. We were there during a slower time so it felt like we had a private resort. The beach is beautiful. We will definitely choose to stay there again on our next trip.」

「The room was comfortable and had more amenities than other places I have stayed in St.Croix. The owners were friendly and helpful. The views were beautiful and the breeze enjoyable in the evening. You do need an all wheel drive vehicle and should definitely arrive while it is still light out. The WiFi was dependable.」

「We enjoyed our stay the hotel was very nice but there is one thing they need to address. If one room sets their thermostat to dry heat it turns off the air conditioning to the entire floor. This happened twice not a huge problem but a little annoying other than that the hotel was very comfortable clean and in a great location.」

「I would stay here again. We were here 9 years ago and loved it! It was just as good this time. Views are wonderful, beach is very nice and not crowded, bartender Connor was excellent and food truck was delicious!! We fell in love with the cats around our cabin. All in all, this place will always be our place to stay!! 」
