「This hotel deserves zero stars if that were an option. It was a terrible experience, and here’s why: 1. Outdated Facilities: The roof appears to have been neglected for years, and the overall condition of the facilities is poor. 2. Worn-out Bedding: The bed linens were old and tattered, making for an uncomfortable sleep. 3. Unpleasant Odor: The room smelled damp and musty, reminiscent of an old, poorly ventilated house. 4. 「Staffing for the rooms and the general area was excellent. Response to requests were excellent. The gardens were a pleasure.」

「Apartment was clean, spacious and bright. Air conditioning was nice and cool. Pool was nice. The kitchen was great. Self check-in was easy (they sent instructions in advance). Easy 12 minute walk to Hermosa beach. Would definitely stay here again. 」

「The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The room was comfortable and had great air conditioning. The breakfast was delicious. Yiu cant beat the location, ealking distance to restaurants and the beach.」

「The hotel rooms are very basic, and dated, but clean. There was no blow dryer. AC was cool, but noisy. It was fine for one night before we flew home. Very close to the beach. The breakfast was a full breakfast and filled us up for the morning. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There’s a small pool surrounded by beautiful gardens. If I were staying for a longer period I would book one of the villas which looked lovely and updated.」

「Beautiful property on a hill with spectacular views of the ocean. Large spacious rooms and authentic Costa Rican food. Reliable shuttle to connect to the beach since the hotel is on a hill and walking up/down the hill an be challenging. Really warm ocean waters and hot temperatures with no humidity. Relatively no mosquitoes around this time of the year!」
