It definitely came in clutch for a last-minute stay. This place is definitely a "get what you pay for" type of scenario. I believe we got a room that was not remodeled, so it was kind of on the "dingier" side, but it was nothing extremely crazy or bad! The room came with a decent queen sized bed, a desk and chair, a lounging chair and ottoman, a microwave, refrigerator, and a TV with the ability to add your streaming service accounts. The bathroom was standard, somewhat cramped and could use a bit more TLC but again, you get what you pay for! 😊 There was also plenty of parking but if you have a larger vehicle like a truck, you might feel a bit cramped.
My partner and I stayed from Friday-Monday, and had 0 major complaints! There was a small incident with the shower head, but the manager helped us navigate the problem and it didn't fall back on us, she was very kind and helpful!
The area the hotel is located in is very beautiful, quiet, and safe. There are many shops around, a liquor store very nearby, and an amazing taco spot called Juanita's Taco Shop that's a gem! The hotel is also very close to the beach, which is great for convenience but also calls for some humidity in the hotel rooms.
Overall, we had a great stay. We had no complaints and were satisfied with the service and the room. Don't come here expecting a resort, but know that you will be taken care of and your belongings will be safe in your room 😊. I would definitely stay here again on a tight budget.
