"At check in we were greeted by friendly Jennifer who was so kind and patient with us and very informative. We had a 3rd floor room with a balcony and beautiful ocean view. The room eas clean spacious with a mini fridge and microwave. Restroom was big and clean. The bed was on the harder side but not bad. Overall the room was worth the price especially with that view and a 3 minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend!!"

"Arrived half an hour after my check in time was supposed to start, and they wouldn't even let me and the other person there into the lobby, they literally pointed a hose at the other person there to keep them out of the lobby! UNBELIEVABLY rude staff Parking lot is very tight, and most spots are taken up by junk from the rooms they are renovating. Loud because of construction and tv didn't work any time I tried. Was told because of maintenance, but it never came back. Was also told I was "upgraded" to a room with less beds? I was traveling alone so didn't care but be aware if you're not. Best advice is to just find somewhere else."

"Holiday Inn in Solana Beach needs to let people know it’s under a serious renovation. No elevator , climbing 3 flights of stairs daily for 3 days with a bad knee was rough. Television was out for 2 days they claimed cable issue. Horrible WIFI. On a positive note upgraded rooms nice decor and free breakfast to go."

"Jose at the Front Desk, was gracious and helpful on the phone, and in person (I had special needs, as a disabled guest). He was welcoming and eager. The young lady during my morning check-out was also gracious. The older gentleman at night wasn't too warm. The ladies hosting the buffet were awesome (warm, inviting, personable, outgoing, humble, attentive, efficient). My two partners and I really appreciated their personalities. We also appreciated that morning staff members arriving and starting their workday, greeted us. The room was surprisingly spacious, comfy beds, a handsome style, spacious bathroom, and clean. Unfortunately, the kitchen just next door is a bit noisy to deal with in the morning (not severe though). We believe that for the price we paid, the quality of the room, the decent quality of the food offered (better than others and reasonable), and excellent staff, a nice lobby, and in general... a comfy place to stay! We'd definitely return again! THANK YOU, GUYS!!!"

"Beatiful resort, parking fee is $45 for self parking. We rented suite, great size and view but would have been nice to have a mini fridge in luving room area. Great staycation. "
