"Our stay at the Surf & Sand Resort was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. The hospitality was exceptional, and every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. A very special thank you to the manager, who went above and beyond by upgrading us to a premium oceanfront room. We had originally booked a standard oceanfront room, but because my husband has difficulty walking, they thoughtfully moved us to a room that was much more convenient. That act of kindness made such a difference and meant more to us than words can express. The room was absolutely immaculate—beautifully maintained, comfortable, and the breathtaking ocean views were unforgettable. Housekeeping did an outstanding job, and every detail reflected the pride they take in the resort. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help. It’s rare to find a place where you feel so valued as a guest. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so special. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend the Surf & Sand Resort to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Laguna Beach."

"I booked two different suites from June 28-June 30. Both suites were absolutely delightful, roomy, clean and well maintained. My family and I could see and hear the ocean, as well as feel the salty breeze. Everything we were looking for during our short getaway to Laguna. I thought the on-site staff was delightful. All my pre-trip questions were answered in a timely manner, I was not disappointed. There was adequate parking, the lobby area was well maintained and stocked with coffee and goodies. Short walk to beach access, although the tides were very high and we did not access the beach but observed the power and majesty of the Pacific Ocean our first night. Early morning beach exploration (low tide) was delightful."

"The rooms were clean, kitchen good and had everything you needed. Does need some updating. sofa couch was new & comfortable but dressers, window coverings & carpet in bedroom needs replacing. Location was great, close to restaurants, coffee shop & grocery store and of course the beach!! Does have lots of stairs to beach & common areas, so for little kids or adults with mobility issues would not recommend."
