「We had a lovely stay for just one night at The Airds Hotel. We were a bit late getting in and had to cancel an earlier dinner reservation because we were running behind. But the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to enjoy dinner in the restaurant. They also provided us a takeaway bag for breakfast as we had to check out early the next morning. The hotel room itself was very comfortable. The water in the shower gets scalding hot, BEWARE. There is a sign in the bathroom warning of this...

The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and the shower - perfection. Tea and biscuits every morning and they even gave me extra, when I mentioned how much I liked them. All in all, I loved it. Highly recommend.」

「Gracious hosts, incredibly comfortable room and charming place, especially decked out for Christmas. Parking was easy (and free) and this was helpful as we had a rental car. Once there, we were able to walk everywhere in Oban we wanted to go. Highly recommend staying here! 」

Chris carried out luggage up three flights of stairs However there was a glitch with the heat to our room after several trips and several tries we were immediately upgraded to a first floor suit Chris and the team made our stay in Oban wonderful I'm very grateful 」

「The room had an ensuite, though it was a bit cramped. The bed was okay, but a bit soft for me. You had an option of a continental breakfast, but the breakfast room was at another associated property 2 doors down. It was within walkimg distance of the town centre.」

「We arrived in the middle of a storm Amy related power cut which had affected the whole region. The owners could not be more helpful and pulled out all the stops to get us an evening meal. A really nice place to stay. We took the scenic way there along the loch and the quick way to get back to the A82 - the Corran vehicle ferry runs every half an hour (or quicker) and takes 5 minutes to cross the loch. 」
