APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae

"I recently stayed at APA Hotel Asakusa-Kuramae for about a week in July 2026, and I highly appreciated my experience there and recommend it for solo travellers. The reception staff team was very professional and attentive, and capable in welcoming guests from all nationalities. The housekeeping staff team was excellent as well, not only keeping my room clean and well-mainted throughout my stay, but also greeting me on my way out every morning, The best part of my stay here would be the amenities, most notably the restaurant on the ground floor and the public baths on the top floor. The restaurant offers a full morning breakfast buffet, with Japanese and Continental breakfast offerings available. The food is fresh, clean, and spacious for all guests to enjoy. The Koumeiseki onsen on the top floor ("Genyo no Yu") was exceptional and a welcome surprise in an urban hotel. It was the perfect opportunity to relax and wash away the stresses of a busy day of sightseeing. Making full use of these amenities requires some knowledge of Japanese culture, however, so I would recommend researching traditional Japanese breakfast customs and etiquette for using public baths before coming. Overally, this has been an unforgettable experience at an unbeatable price point. I highly recommend it for any solo traveller considering a stay in central Tokyo."
