The only thing I did not like was that we did not get clean towels daily. Also the bathroom configuration did not have enough counter space for two people’s dopp kits. Location was fantastic, food was great. I would stay there again. The staff was great too!

Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was very tasty. Breakfast was a little disappointing, only things on offer were cooked breakfasts, no offer of any cereal, pastries, yoghurts or fruit. Toilets in the main part of the hotel/restaurant area weren’t the cleanest and in a little bit of disrepair. Overall a lovely stay though, nice hotel in a great location.

Front of house staff when we arrived were quite rude. The young lady who served us didn’t move off her seat to help with the bags we were leaving and had assured she would call when our room was ready but we arrived at 3.20 and it was ready?! As a first impression at a high standard expensive hotel (which I stay in a lot ) was definitely not appropriate to your level of service that should be provided. We weren’t made to feel particularly welcome. I won’t be rushing to return or recommend to others unfortunately.

Tigerlilly is an excellent hotel to stay in when in Edinburgh. I had an issue with my bill before arriving, and I received a phone call about it before our arrival. They had the wrong arrival date for us. Because we were coming in from the States, they asked us to book a night before. They charged us for an additional night. After I spoke to the woman at the desk, she said it would be taken care of. The day before checking out, I talked to the front desk and they told me that the day was split among the rest of the days that were charged. After I looked at my final bill when I got home, I saw that the charge was still there.

From beginning to end everyone was very pleasant and friendly and service was prompt. The room and bathroom are spacious, clean and relaxing. The food served in the restaurant was delicious and our server was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend staying there and hope to do so again myself.

Hade en bra vistelse på Tigerlily. Hotellet är fräscht och trendigt och personalen trevlig, men det tog lång tid, ca 30min att få frukosten (var ej buffé utan man beställde med meny). Hotellet var även låst och nyckelkortet fungerade inte när vi kom tillbaka till hotellet på söndag natt. En vakt fick ringa på personalen att de skulle komma och öppna. En ringklocka eller att nyckelkortet fungerade även för ytterdörren hade varit att föredra. Men överlag är vi väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse.

It was such an nice hotel with lovely staff! They are so kind and will help you with anything. The room was perfect, nice bed and big shower. Even a hairstraightener. Very close to all monuments and in the middle of the city!
