很有改善空間

睡在10人房的第4床上鋪，碰不到插座，無法讓手機、行動電源充電。 枕頭套、被單要自己套，看到為未套前的棉被和枕頭，真心覺得髒的真的要替換新的。 地板走路已經沒穿鞋子或穿襪子，還是很大聲，希望可以改良地板材質，以免打擾他人。 在蘇格蘭會有很多人參加旅遊團，應該要可以給旅客寄存大行李，付費也沒關係。

A hostel for alcoholics and people who don't want to get any rest. High prices considering the lack of peace and quiet. Mixed-gender rooms; I ended up sharing mine with two women who came back drunk and rowdy. Stay away if you're looking for tranquility. It's midnight right now, and they have a terrace with karaoke that can be heard right through my window. I do not recommend it.

Older property but well maintained. Check in and out was quick and easy, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the city. We stayed in a family room and would absolutely stay here again.

Affordable and a very good location, but for some reason these hostels really miss the mark on a) enforcing their own rules about noise and cleanliness of patrons (one person in the room got glitter at all for everything and I don't know how I'm going to get it out of my laundry), b) location and availability of power for those of us thet have medical devices (I figured it out but I was pretty fu----d off that I had to sort this out on my own even when I made an advanced request - it's clear they don't even know their own property), and why for the life of me do these places not understand that people need an area to change their clothes because the toilets and showers are too small!!!

Stayed with 3 friends in 4 bedroom room. Check in was not easy. Even though had booking ref the automated booking did not recognise it. Spent about 20 mins faffing about with QR code before eventually getting sorted. Room was tiny and overlooked courtyard bar. The noise was still going well after 2am. Room was also very warm but we couldnt open window due to noise from bar. Considering what we paid I would not stay here again

Hostel was overbooked on the weekend of the marathon - reception staff were amazing at handling the situation and got us somewhere else quickly but still quite stressful for all the family the night before my race.

Staff was polite and helpful with directions. Breakfast had no eggs, and the coffee machine was not working well. Also, I wish I did not have to pay for a towel, and the bar downstairs below my room was very noisy, so I did not get much sleep.

The rooms are nowhere close to what is shown in the pictures. They are extremely small and cramped, especially when four people are expected to share the same room. Another major issue is that roommates can bring their friends into the room, and on some occasions, they even stay overnight. This creates additional noise, disruption, and chaos for the other guests. What is particularly concerning is the apparent lack of checks or intervention by hotel staff. Overall, the experience was very uncomfortable and disappointing. I would definitely not recommend this hostel.

The hostel was walkable to many sites. Only thing I did not like was on the first day I recieved semi clean linen that I had to exchanged. Noise from the bar did not bother me but getting breakfast was a hassle in that I had to go to the front desk and charge it and scan it in front of the buffet scanner. Quite a bit of work for that early in the morning. Could be efficient in the future. Overall hostel staff were exemplary and amicable. Enjoyed quiz night and karaoke night! Will go back again to a&o Edinburgh City hostel when I return to Edinburgh. Thank you for making my 1st visit to Scotland a memorable experience!

The location at the bottom of the street near the Cowgate was ok but I needed to take into account the incline up to the high street. Closeness to station and transport is good. Breakfast adequate for the day’s excursions. Needed to get to bus station and did it in 20mins. At 80 years of age I was proud of myself! There were many senior citizens in the building. My only criticism would be not knowing the layout and procedure for food etc all doable.
