The room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable for a family of four. The restaurant inside the hotel and the ones around were amazing and it’s really close to major attractions like the castle. Will come back!

Location, location, location! This hotel’s location seriously can’t be beat. On the corner of the colorful Victoria Street and walking distance to the castle. The grassmarket is a lively area to visit with its pubs and shops.The view of the castle at night is remarkable. If you’re looking for quiet, peaceful nights, though, this might not be the location for you.

"Comfortable stay and a good view from the castle facing room. The room had no AC cooling as it is rare for the city temperature to go up like it did this June. The hotel does provide a table fan and it does cool off after 8 pm Overall a good stay with a good variety in breakfast"
