「Comfortable apartment with most of the things we needed. Easy walk up to the Playhouse and Princes street. Large Tesco with in easy distance. However, the blackout blind in the bedroom didn’t work and although my husband emailed the host we didn’t get a response. The microwave/oven had been replaced with a microwave and no instructions. The lights over the bunks were somewhat dubious.」

「There is no parking for this place. The parking that they list on their email is only for permit holders. This greatly reduced my rating. The apartment itself could use a good deep clean. Tons of dust, the couch was covered in stains, the blanket on the couch was very smelly and dirty. The location is okay, far walks and bus rides to everything. 」

「Apartment is very clean, check in was easy, location is convenient. A few things to note: -the listing states there is a king size bed however, this is a UK king size bed, which is definitely not the same as what you would be used to in the US. It is similar to a US double or full size. -there is no air-conditioning and you can only open the windows about 2 inches so even if it is fairly temperate outside, it will be very hot in the apartment. 「I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae.」

「Upon walking through the gate, trash was plied very high. When we got to the room the smell of cigarette smoke smacks you in the face. I immediately notified them via email with no answer. The couch was very warn out with pieces of the pleather flacking off and the chair had a hole in it and was very old and not comfortable. The bed was decent, however the pillows are very very flat. Oh and the blue door in the pictures, not your blue door. Also, there was pee in one of the walkways as well 」
