"Much of the building is falling into disrepair. The property entrance and the pool/pub area are in serious need of refurbishment. The lack of upkeep is also noticed in the condition of the carpets in our suite, which would benefit from a deep cleaning. "

"This was our second recent visit and again, the Royal Ascot Hotel in Bur Dubai proved an excellent choice. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The level of service was consistently outstanding, making our stay truly enjoyable and relaxing. A special thanks to Saima, Mano, Sahid, Santosh, Srinivas, Joyla, and Kshtij for their exceptional hospitality and attentive service throughout our stay. Each of them went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after, making us feel valued as guests. The hotel continues to maintain immaculate standards, with clean, well-presented rooms that make it a fantastic place to stay. The welcoming atmosphere, combined with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, made our visit truly memorable. We would happily stay at the Royal Ascot Hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bur Dubai. Once again, a well-deserved 10/10!"

"Seemed to be a lack of Staff, Check-in seemed under pressure with a lot of complaints. The breakfast was terrible with on person trying to check people in while doing other jobs and one person cooking eggs and long queues. No scrabbled egg available as I assume this is the same person that cooking fry egg, and omelettes etc. "

"This was a last minite booking because we had flight delays and oit original reservation was cancelled. The lobby has a terrible odor. The neighborhood is dirty an crowded. There are no nice places to eat or shop nearby. The room was large bit like a motel 6 in the US. We had to switch the breakers throughout the day to keepnthe AC running. We had cockroaches in our room 3 of the 5 days we were there. The staff was polite but inattentive when we aked for help."
