"Had a very pleasant stay recently at the Portland Harbor Hotel. The rooms are spacious with a great view of downtown Portland. The front desk service was good and the room rate was reasonable. When I checked in I would have appreciated being told that I needed to use my room key to make the elevator work, but that was a minor issue. "The location is perfect for a day in the city. Close to everything. The staff was friendly. The free shuttle to the airport was easy to arrange with the service offered 24 hours. I was transported at 3:20 am to the airport saving the cost of an Uber and assured safety at the hour. The gym was under renovations so I knocked off points for that the the lobby and care area are very tight so that’s not so appealing. However the rooms were large and inexpensive.
