「We stayed at Visitation during our son and DIL marriage in the Frederick courthouse- afterwards we reserved dinner at Wye Oak Tavern. The environment, presentation and superior taste of food made for a memorable evening. They treated us with a glass of complimentary champagne to celebrate our night and we never felt rushed to leave that evening. It was a special night and our stay at hotel was superb - rooms were immaculate and comfortable- hotel grounds were lovely to relax.」

「On street parking was extremely accessible and the caretakers did a fantastic job of making sure we had a spot right out front. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and other tractions in a less than 5-minute walk.」

「This property was unique as it had a winery right on property with so many activities such as, line dancing. The food and drinks were excellent. The house was impeccable and beautifully decorated. The property is large and beautifully kept. You can tell this is a special property for the owners. Also, the staff was friendly and very attentive , I highly recommend this B&B whether it’s for a romantic getaway or any type of an event.」

「The Antietam Overlook Inn is a wonderful B&B perfectly situated on a hilltop in the Maryland Piedmont, just minutes away from Antietam Nat'l Battlefiield, Sharpsburg MD and Shepherdstown WV. The wilderness setting is stunning -- I saw more wildlife in one hour drinking my morning coffee than I saw in an entire day in Shenandoah Nat'l Park. The staff prepared a delicious communal breakfast for the 3 couples staying that night along with us. Great for pets -- they have a Frenchie, a farm cat...

「Room and general areas clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was room was a little cramped - one of the beds (two queens) was about 8 inches from the wall, making it difficult to get into that side of the bed.」

「The attention to the guests was awful, we asked for clean towels three times we never got them, we stayed there 6 days. The tub and shower is leaking the toilet has a leak, the refrigerator has a lot of condensation water was coming under the refrigerator, no one cleans the rooms.」

「The lady who handled the breakfast area was excellent. She kept everything well stocked and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast. Parking was a little tight. Thankfully the connecting businesses permitted parking in their lots.」

「Great staff. But, updates are definitely needed. No USB ports. Short staffed when it comes to housekeeping personnel. They need help. What I do like, is this Super 8’s location. Centrally located.」

「My wife and I stayed for a night to attend a wedding. The room and the property were very nice. Everything was clean and well maintained. I was worried that the 3 pm check-in would make us late to the ceremony, but the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Check-in took less than 5 minutes! The lobby had decent coffee even in the afternoon. I’ll definitely stay here again when in town.」
