「We were in Michigan for a special event. Like all places, rates go up significantly for big events. I found this motel. It looked nice and was value priced. It was nice. It was really clean, the location was great for our needs. It was the beginning of the season so were very few people in Douglas. We really enjoyed the area. The beds were comfy. My only complaint was no maid service. I did not expect any but for 3 nights it would have been nice to have the trash taken out. The rooms...

「On the plus side, the staff were pleasant and helpful, and the facility was clean- also, it was nice to have access to a pool and hot tub- A few things were a bit off-putting- there were two bottles of water in the room with a label $3.00 each, unless you were a gold card member- that seemed a bit chintzy- it would have been a nicer gesture to give welcoming bottles of water to all guests- Also- this is the first hotel I've been to in recent memory that hasn't offered a continental breakfast...
