When I booked, the location given in Maioli was behind a gas station in centre of town. 24 hours prior to arrival, I verified the address on Google map and it was outside the city, in the hills. Since I am cycling, I wasn't going to launch myself into the Taiwanese hills, after a day of cycling."

"明德水庫旁原先的教師會館，重新裝潢。優點：面湖位置絕佳、房間大且有木質地板、被子輕軟又保暖，很舒服。缺點：1.淋浴的熱水要留很久才會熱，盆浴的則是再久也只到溫溫的，等放完水也冷掉了，無法泡澡；2.入住當晚住房率很低，館方也不願意讓我們稍提前入住。 非屬館方：明德水庫環湖公路目前施工無法完整通行，沒有公告，館方也不知。我們走到一半只好掉頭(雖然景色也不怎麼樣)。雖然會館看出區的湖景很好，但明德水庫留宿觀光做不起來，因果相扣形成循環，蠻可惜的。倒過來說，附近留宿觀光不發達所以晚上蠻安靜的，適合喜歡安靜放空的人。"
