「We loved the experience of staying in a genuine castle! It was a beautiful property with trails for walking and wildlife wandering on site with horses! The only thing I’d change were the sheers on the bathroom window (felt a little exposed. The staff were lovely and we would definitely stay again and longer to enjoy the area more! Offaly is beautiful 」

「Great location with plenty of options for dining and sightseeing. The rooms are clean and the staff were friendly. Just know that they do not have air conditioning in the rooms. They will provide you with a portable fan if requested. Well worth the cost to stay in this beautiful area. 」

「Loved our stay here. Hotel is much bigger than what meets the eye from the street (so they were able to accommodate our request for 2 separate beds. I think we essentially got a free upgrade). It's in a good central location, with everything within walking distance. Travel tips: Book a guided tour of Kilkenny Castle if you can. You get too see amazing parts that are not available during self-guided visits. Have dinner/drinks/listen to live music at Kyteler's Inn. It's a 700 year old...

「The Club House was centrally located and walkable to any destination in the Medevil section of the city. The staff was professional, polite and personable. The breakfast was plentiful, with a continental buffet as well as your choice of cooked breakfast items. 」

「We had a lovely one night stay recently for a wedding we were attending in the rivercourt hotel, it was amazing value for money. The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Such a great stay we will definitely be back again. Denise & James. 」
