「We stayed for one night, also having dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely and clean, the dinner and breakfast were both freshly cooked and delicious. It was great to see the bar /restaurant buzzing with locals and others staying there. Staff were really helpful. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay and located well for exploring. 」

「We stayed at the Padbrook Park for two nights whilst attending a wedding held locally. The rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was very good.」

「Staff efficient but robotic and lacked empathy. Bedroom tired and the lighting was inadequate when applying make-up. Dim lights might be romantic but a dressing table with a proper lamp so you can see what you look like is essential! Hot water in bathroom basin very slow in coming through and the toilet seat is misaligned 」

「We stayed for one night and unfortunately were quite disappointed with our experience. The air conditioning in our room was not working, which made it extremely hot and uncomfortable, especially as there were no windows that could be opened for ventilation. The bar staff were also very unhelpful. They seemed reluctant to serve customers and repeatedly told us they had run out of ingredients for mocktails. The overall service felt poor and unwelcoming. 「Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay 」
