「If you want an accommodation that is unique, quiet, and a little off the beaten path, this castle is for you! The castle and grounds are beautiful and there is plenty of hiking to do in the area. Rooms are clean and updated while still maintaining its history. Staff is friendly and breakfast is good! Highly recommend」

「The room was fine, TV was outdated and slow. If you plan on walking to nearby locations this hotel is not good for walkability, busy roadways and shifty characters. The bed was uncomfortable despite driving for 14 hours I couldn't fall asleep. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The pool was closed, the "fitness center" was 2 treadmills and a broken machine. I was very disappointed by this stay. Be sure to read the negative reviews off Expedia before booking. Waste of money, left after one...

「Our first room was not acceptable. The room smelled like dog. We were then moved to a different room that was much more agreeable. Thanks to the woman at the check-in desk who made sure we were accommodated.」

「John at the front desk was very nice and helpful when I asked where a good place to eat was in the area. he gave me several options. It really helped. I like to to get the opinion of people who live where i stay. you get the best options that way.」

「Bed had crumbs in it. Pillows and bed had hair on them. No sheets or pillows for pullout bed only 1 sheet and a thin fitted sheet on the top as a comforter. There was loud music playing at 2 am in the room next to us. Doors slamming all night with people talking and banging on doors all night. 」

「Definitely an older property and it shows. I wouldn’t say it was dirty but it carried the weight of its years. The breakfast left a lot to be desired - a tub of brownie bites, cereal and waffles shouldn’t be considered breakfast. I would recommend higher protein options for those who are gluten free and don’t want to eat only sugar in the morning. The surrounding area had lots of shopping/fast dining but felt a little unsafe just with how many homeless people were around the hotel and the...
