The location is outstanding, we use the area as a stop on travels further west. The hotel is extremely clean and the rooms are well appointed. The staff was more than helpful. We will be using this location annually moving forward.

Your stay is an experience! This could easily be considered a health spa hotel, the sauna, cold plunge and hot tub (pool was still being finished). All amazing! Yet it’s the staff that makes your stay amazing! You’ll feel like you’re a guest in their home. From the desk to the lovely cleaning staff! 100% will be my choice when I’m on that side of the mountain!

The hotel room was spotless, and the staff was incredibly helpful. They even gave us great recommendations for things to do around town, which made our stay even better. The hotel is also pet-friendly, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Having coffee available in the lobby each morning was a nice bonus as well. One thing to note is that there’s no elevator in the building, so guests who have difficulty with stairs may want to keep that in mind when booking. Overall, this was an excellent place to stay. If I’m ever back in the area, I would definitely stay here again!

The Outrider hotel was a great stay!! All of the staff were amazing and also helpful with any questions we had about the area. The rooms were very modern and clean. Including a nice tea pot in room and coffee in the lobby for the morning!! The sauna/cold plunge along with the hot tub were all in new condition and were very convenient after a long day. The fire pit area was relaxing as well. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a luxury and welcoming stay!!

The front desk felt like family. So friendly and excited about all that we might do during our stay. They totally hooked me up when I miscalculated how dirty I’d get four wheeling - I had checked out and they let me come back and use the room to shower. My daughter and I were filthy and when we walked in the door they gave us the biggest smiles and wanted to know how our adventure was- they truly wanted us to enjoy every aspect of our stay- with them and in Colorado. Definitely coming back just for the people but also for the delish coffee they brewed. Oh and I loved the tea kettle in the room! So cute - I used it every morning and night

As far as amenities and friendliness of staff- it’s a 10 out of 5. This hotel is newly opened and the amenities and staff are awesome. You can tell they’ve put some effort into updating amenities. However, the noise from the street is SO loud. There was a spider in the room. We only had two towels, though 4 can stay there. I was told they’d deliver sheets and pillows for the fold out couch which never happened. The tv wasn’t plugged in, but we couldn’t move it to plug it in (it was big). The hotel itself is very loud. The price was STEEP at $180 a night for what is clearly a renovated older motel.

I recently stayed at the Outrider Hotel and could not have been more impressed. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making the entire experience feel personalized and memorable. Every interaction reinforced that guest experience is clearly a priority here. Whether you’re visiting Manitou Springs for business, adventure, or a relaxing getaway, the Outrider Hotel is an outstanding choice. The room was clean & the staff were eager to help, when available. However, there was no elevator (we must have overlooked that when booking), the pool was under maintenance (which we were hoping to use), they do not have around the clock staff…(we got locked out one morning when loading the car, and were unable to find anyone to help us get back in, even calling the number).

There were some things on the room side that were a bit inconvenient. There was nowhere really to put luggage or unpack. No counter space at the sink. My wife is a larger women and neither of us could get into the toilet area easily. There was only one place to sit. I understand that there were 2 beds in the room and it made for less space. The first room only had 1 bed (we needed and had reserved the 2 bed room) but it would have accommodated 2 beds and chairs easily. Anyway we would not go through Expedia on a return trip. Last thing. Why no kleenex or extra tp?

I loved the artistic simplicity of the entire environment. The staff was not professional (AI is professional), they were better! Relaxed, relatable, very familiar with all aspects of what the property offered. I absolutely loved the room and the staff. One thing though, not enough parking spaces to accommodate their visitors. But what they did was attempt to make space when possible. But that one thing is huge if you are returning after 8 or 9 at night.

This was such a lovely weekend this hotel was so fantastic. The sauna and hot tub were so perfect after long days of hiking. The girls at the desk were so wonderful, joyful and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again. And recommend it to my friends! I am a picky hotel guest. I need clean, safe and close to things. This hit all the marks!
