「The fan on the air conditioning was absolutely horrible! It sounded like a train coming through the room every time the fan kicked on! It took forever to get hot water in the shower. The rooms were OK. Nothing great, but it was fine for one night. The breakfast was a 7 out of 10. Had a good variety.」

「Junk containers everywhere, 'lumber' under plastic by frontdoor, pool covered, trash in pool area, weeds everywhere, dead animal on driveway pointed out to manager when arrived but still there next morning, broken luggage rack, dirty refrigerator, no chair in room to sit on, "reception" area like the Black Hole of Calcutta. Room smelled of stale smoke while bathroom had urine hints by toilet.」

「The instructions to get back this cabin on the lake got us right to the front door. It was clean and worked for our group perfectly! We grilled on the deck that was well shaded to hold off some of the June heat.」

「Cabin was in poor condition. Windowsills were full of dead ants. Toilet had a drip leak in the hose line, with a bucket placed underneath to catch. When we arrived, the bucket was overflowing and spilling water onto the bathroom floor. It seemed nobody had cleaned or checked on the room in weeks or even months before we arrived.」

「It was an average place. Nothing fancy. It is basically what you would think of as a cottage on a lake. Mismatched broken furniture. Dirty mattress on upstairs bunk bed. Didn’t see any bugs but I’m thinking I may have gotten head lice from the pillows. The skillets and stuff had to be scrubbed before we could use them. We did see some sort of water bug that’s to be expected on a lake. The internet is horrible I had to use my hotspot for a firestick on the tv. No one else’s phones would work on...

「My wife and I were in town for family business. We have many family members in the region, and we wanted to stay far off the grid. I’m glad we did. No phone, no cable, no nothing. Absolutely fantastic! We plan to bring our children on the next trip in about 8 months. This place is #1 on the list for my wife and I. I have stayed in most states and countries, but this by far is the best stay in quite some time. We are coming back. If you want to make an offer to sell, let me know. 」
