"We booked this lodge because it had a unique option to just book a room, and individually choose which activities/excursions you want to participate and pay for. Most places I found in the Amazon required to buy packages with an itinerary. However, when we arrived the first thing they did was try to sell us a packaged tour. We really did not want an itinerary and wanted to rest at our own leisure time. After that, the staff asked us multiple times if we wanted to go on the activities that were...

"Stayed in a private room with a double bed and private shower. Hotel room was cold, even in the afternoon. Blankets were free to rent but they charged 20 soles for a space heater. Service was slow but 10 minute walk to Plaza de Armas was convenient."

"The staff is very attentive, simple and always willing to serve. Reception should be though more warm and welcoming. It seems they work under some pressure. They should be trained to make the Balneário more welcoming. This is not a reprimand, but only a suggestion for management to improve the place. "

"The cabins are located far from Pucon. No food was offered. There was no hot water and the water pressure was horrible. I would not recommend this property. Also, they asked for 1/2 upfront and the other 1/2 once we arrived. After what we went through, I would not have paid them for the second 1/2."
