「This is was my third stay here and the location」

「Beautiful building, a little tired and in need of some love but seeped in history, seamless check in, helpful staff, room was extremely clean, very comfy bed and a good nights sleep, tea and coffee facilities in room also, spacious and clean bathroom with nice fluffy white towels, furniture in keeping with the period of the hotel, fabulous location, on site car park and value for money, would stay here again」

「Breakfast was enjoyable staff professional and friendly room small and a little dated and tired」

「We didn't stay at the property, as when we entered the 4th floor bedroom it was really hot. the window was open to its 3 inch extent, and there was a tower fan, that had little effect on the heat . The reception staff said that none of the rooms had working air conditioning, so we couldn't change rooms. We decided to leave and find alternative accomodation.」

「Lovely character hotel with a terrific swimming pool」

「The room was quirky and clean Staff very welcoming and helpful Food was lovely and plentiful」

Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night....

「I absolutely loved this hotel. Staff were amazing and so very friendly. They were happy to help and offer advice throughout the stay. Dinner and breakfast was lovely. Cocktails great and overall a beautiful stay - if I could have stayed an extra night I would have done. Our room was up in the rafters and was superb. A twin...
