「This is amazing hotel located on the hills of Lake Toba, it takes around 4 hours from Silangit airport and 5 from Medan. If you like nature and relax away from buzzy cities this is your spot, also inside the property are plenty activities to do as you are isolated in the middle of the forest. With incredible landscapes similar to Scotland this hotel was recomended for some friends who visited few years back. Staff makes your stay unforgettable. Food options are limited to Indonesian, however...

「Hotel locations is very good, there are many restaurants nearby and a big supermarket just downstairs. Hotel is clean and modern, breakfast is yummy and have many variety, staffs are friend, we checked out at very early morning on the last day, the staff even prepared an take away breakfast for us to go with. Room is spacious, though the bed is a bit too soft for me but still comfort. Wifi connection only good at the lobby but not at room」

「We loved our time at Tuk Tuk Timbal Bungalows. We stayed in one of their traditional rooms, which we really enjoyed. Great menu available for all meals. Staff was super accommodating with transportation to and from Samosir. The passenger ferry will pick-up/drop-off directly at the property, so contact TukTuk ahead of time to make arrangements!」

「Hotel is great. Staff are lovely. Very central location. However navigating to the outside of the hotel is challenging with many cars. No proper passenger walkway Quite a culture shock when it comes to crossing the roads in Medan city.」

「入住Club級無冷氣房, 由下午投訴許多次至晚上, 都沒處理, 晚上九時後要求酒店換房, 換了房再等冷氣, 還是Sauna房, 還要求住客降級住同是冷氣不足的房間, 事因網上付款價格底, 經爭取, 到23:30才肯把同級有冷氣的吉房供給, 由中午入住酒店到晚上要花一整天才可得到應得的房間, 有正常的房間留存, 不知這是酒店嗎? 告知住房為非吸煙房, 但房內安放煙灰缸?」

「The room was a bit dated. The aircon was noisy but it helped drown out the sound of prayers from the adjacent mosque at 4:30am as there was inadequate sound proofing. For the price (cheap) it was ok, but it’s not what I would call grand, nor is it clear what it is central to. If I needed to be up early and was ok with not wanting anything flashy, I would stay there again, but if I wanted to sleep in or have something more luxurious, I would not.」
