"Cannot fault this hotel, everything was perfect. Free shuttles to the night market and back via whatsapp .. modern but authentic bedrooms, quality bedding and modern bathroom, reasonable prices at the bar! in a quiet area of LP yet with so much to walk to locally and scooters and cars to hire from the hotel, getting around could t be easier. We saw many of the other hotels we considered and not a patch on Mybanlao."

"Wonderful boutique hotel nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Secret garden vibes and a great getaway while in Luang Prabang. It’s colonial style so don’t expect all the modern amenities although I do wish there were gym facilities. I do highly recommend!"

"This was easily one of the most luxurious resorts I’ve ever stayed in. It is the previous French Governors mansion that was converted to 20+ room resort with bunnies and other fauna roaming the grounds. The rooms were right out of an Indochina romance with private gardens and an outdoor soaking tub. The stone tiles were pleasant on the feet"

"A wonderful hotel, where the welcome is as warm as the weather. Villa Maly is a fantastic Boutique hotel, with beautiful rooms and facilities and such a great place to unwind and relax. The hotel is handy and convenient in a central location and walkable or a short taxi trip to the main shops, restaurants and the river. The rooms, whilst slightly smaller than you'd get in a 'modern' hotel are well equipped, clean and very nicely presented. The pool is awesome if you're visiting Luang Prabang when the weather is hot. A quick swim followed by a drink from the bar is the perfect way to wind down and chill out. "
