"Went to stay at Mad Monkey for 3 days in the shared dorm for the doublebed room for couples. It was some lovely people and very helpful staf. It has happy hour for 4 hours a day, you get a free drink when arriving and they have aircon in the rooms. The rooms are still warm but feel quite private.
We enojyed the pool area, especially at night where you could look at the stars and swim around before going to bed.

"The hotel should be rated 2 star or less. They used low grade materials to build this hotel. The hotel is so horrible. I had to wait for a long time for hot water to come in. The whole place was rushed to finish and you can use the unfinished job left behind. People were smoking in the lobby! I was so happy to leave the place. 2 night was too long!! "
"We spent 5 nights in Luang Prabang and the Phonepraseuth Guesthouse was perfect for our visit. Mr. Kim suggested places to visit and went above and beyond even driving us to the airport. Rooms are a great value, comfortable, and are as pictured. If you're staying in Luang Prabang, this is a great place to stay."
"Very friendly staff, clean cozy room with a great view and walking distance to many sights, restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay there again !!"
"Great stay! Lovely staff. Highly enjoyed. Loved breakfast. Great free shuttle transport to town and back on demand during certain hours. Very fancy looking! Loved. Will be back, I'm sure."
"I had a lovely stay here as a solo traveller for 3 nights. The room was comfortable and clean and the location was close to the riverfront and a walkable distance from many restaurants and shops. The staff were all really friendly, hospitable and helpful. I also got my laundry done at the hotel (it was $2 USD for 1 kg of load) and the staff were really efficient with that. The alms giving ceremony also happens just outside the hotel every morning around 6am which was a unique cultural tradition to witness. "
