"My husband and and I spent a week here in April. We LOVED our stay. If you're looking for a Hilton or Marriot, you will be disappointed. You are in Europe. The rooms are smaller, the shower is small, and the breakfast is simple. The location is 10/10, a few minutes from the train station, tons of dining options and a few steps ftom the most beautiful beach. Get a room with balcony looking at the sea. "The hotel staff was amazing - very kind and helpful. We really loved it, apart from one problem that meant we didn’t get a great sleep. The room itself was very nice, but be aware that there is no ventilation at all. We were told they only turn on the AC in summer, but we couldn’t even open a vent to let air in from outside. The only option is to have the balcony doors open, and unfortunately that comes with a lot of street noise late at night and early in the morning. "

"Villa Acini is about 5 minutes’ away from the train station. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the center of town, as you walk along the beach boardwalk. I would recommend Villa Acini as it was quiet, safe, easily accessible and clean. The breakfast buffet is beautiful and varied, but arrive early as there are limited number of tables indoors (many outdoor tables available when it is not rainy). "We really enjoyed our two night stay in Manarola. Boutique hotel an easy five minute walk from the train station. Check-in was quick and easy. Our host secured a reservation for dinner quickly at Trattoria dal Billy featuring fresh fish and a spectacular cliff side view of the sunset. Our large, comfortable, well appointed room had a peekaboo view of the town square and sea. Unexpected bonus was a shared terrace with a spectacular unobstructed sea view.
