Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately didn’t manage to go to the spa or pool as we were busy. 😢. It did look amazing. The views were fabulous
This was my second visit to the Royal Hotel which I was looking forward to!
On arrival no recognition for it being my second visit- no welcome message or fruit etc in the room!
Staff are great especially the pool team and the breakfast team!
The room i had was the same as last time-
I asked if I could have a late chexk out at 2pm and told no!!
I still love the hotel but it could do better to recognise returning guests!
There was clearly a misrepresentation of the hotel with false advertising on their own website .They claim to have 3 restaurants open now in summer .A big lie!
Fiori de Mureno their main restaurant is closed in summer .The pool restaurant only serves snacks and pizza .The inside restaurant is at the bar and not a full restaurant.
We drove 6 hours from Aix in the south of France with no decent restaurant lunch at the san remo hotel what so ever was open. Finally there was a cheap restaurant at the beach where had fish ravioli at plasic tables and chairs .Later we got sick of diarrhea

Great location. Lovely staff. Amazingly cool pool. Outdated decor: while the hotel has been clearly updated the style of decor does not meet contemporary 5 star L peer hotels. Similarly the breakfast buffet is equally under par.
This hotel is a beautiful representation of classic luxury. We truly enjoyed the location and the sea view from our room. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We liked the spa area and the hotel’s proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. Nice garden atmosphere on the property as well. I would recommend this hotel.
Have visited this hotel several times over a 15 year period and the standards are just as high. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and courteous and whilst the service is definitely 5 star, there is still a relaxed atmosphere and it does not feel stuffy which can be the case with many top end hotels.
This is a great hotel in the heart of San Remo. Spa is newly refitted and the relaxation area / steam room / sauna are high quality and immaculately clean.
The only reason for my 4 star review instead of 5, is that our room was connecting to another and the noise transference is more than we would have liked. In mentioning this to the staff, we were told that our only option was to pay the excess to upgrade to the next category of room. I wasn't angling for an upgrade - just needed a quiet room!

Fabulous property with everything you would ever need. The people throughout the hotel were spectacular!!!! Will ALWAYS come back as well as give the hotel and its staff full marks. Tony
Lovely Grand Dame Hotel.
Very friendly and welcoming staff
Great ambience.
Real throwback to my youth when we enjoyed great family holidays.
Unspoilt resort.
Really lovely.
Very nice hotel, clean and in great location. The staff is very friendly. The only downside is that once it gets crowded, you will not get a spot at the nearby beach ( a voucher is needed), at the pool or in the dining area during breakfast. Perhaps, it is better during off season.
Beautiful property that was walking distance to almost everything. They were friendly and extremely accommodating to our needs and helped us organize our transportation and even some of our tours. The wait staff knew our names after the first day which was very impressive.
The Hotel was fabulous- set in beautiful grounds; great breakfasts; charming and helpful staff... only downsides are that it is up a steep hill or flights of stairs- so less good if there are any mobility problems. Also, soundproofing is not great between the rooms- otherwise though, we loved it!
Facilities and pool area were great. Staff is amazing .
Room is okay, however the bed (two single bed combined) was terrible. I did not have good sleep all nights because of the bed. Staff tried to fix, yet it couldn’t be fixed.
