「The outdoor space, overlooking the stream, were beautiful and comfortable. The common spaces and our room were clean. The breakfast was great and staff were helpful and friendly. Very enjoyable place to stay.」

「All the smaller motels in Cherokee seem to be neglected or closed. This one is no exception. Needs major updates.」

「This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ...
