"I've just mentioned that it would be my birthday during my stay asking for a cupcake at breakfast and they sent a bottle of Prosecco with two flutes and an amazing card handwritten by the staff. "We just had a wonderful stay at the Montecarlo in Venice. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning in the room was operational in the month of April. We would highly recommend the hotel to others. I have one complaint and it is minor. I wished they could have served meatless scrambled eggs in the morning. There was bacon and sausage available on the table to accompany the eggs for meat eaters."
