"I wish we had longer to stay. The Château has been renovated with all the modern comforts you need. Lovely bedrooms, big bathrooms and beautiful views across the countryside. Steven is also a friendly and welcoming host who makes the best English tea, his own jams and bakes pastries daily. Nearby towns (10 mins drive) have excellent restaurants also if you want to venture away for a meal, incl a Michelin starred. "

"The tramway providing easy transportation to the city was an unexpected benefit to our stay. The hotel was a little hard to find from the direction from which we were coming, due to lack of signage. We made a suggestion to the receptionist to add a sign on that side of the entrance way. The receptionist made a note of it and promised to forward it to management."

"Not much. Restaurant is expensive and breakfast is same. Staff is very friendly. Very old and rooms small. No closets. extremely uncomfortable. "

"The property itself was a beautiful setting for a spa and the staff wonderful. The restaurant. "L'Ardoise Saveurs des Thomeaux" was PHENOMENAL. You could order multiple courses with different options. We were so glad to have stayed there despite the challenges. One, being wifi. The wifi by the restaurant was amazing.
