"I was a bit nervous after looking at the reviews, however, the rooms didn't smell, the shower was clean, and no stains on the sheets. The front desk people were very helpful during check in. My only complaints are that there were no free waterbottles in the room (not expected though) and I couldn't figure out how to get my phone to play on the tv. "

"The room was nice, luminous, and the breakfast was just correct. The hotel itself is quite old, has seen better times. The elevators are a weak aspect, you take forever to catch one. The carpet in the corridors need a deep clean as well. For some reason Chicago emergency vehicles use a very noisy siren, it's impossible to sleep through the night. Other cities have change to equality effective but not so disturbing sirens. "

"The breakfast here was the best I've had in hotels I've stayed in. We enjoyed the variety each day and tons of options for everyone. Good coffee too! The staff was nothing but helpful from helping is unload on that busy street, to giving us recommendations for places to eat. Will be staying here again! "

"Super quiet and comfy and clean...all of the things we look for. We always choose this hotel on our way to northern Wisconsin as a one night stopover. The price is a great deal. We have suggested the switch from styrofoam plates and cups in the dining area several times and were pleased to see paper plates and cups on this visit!"
