"Room was not cleaned properly, dirty q tip on bathroom floor , refrigerator still had food in it from previous people. Also you must pay to park. 27.00 per day. Which I didn’t expect . Outside property didn’t seem maintained very well, all the shrubbery were dead or needed water terribly. Paid for breakfast included, we only ordered a simple egg sandwich and we waited almost an hour with hardly anyone there and we ended up leaving after no service. Front desk people were nice and helpful. Bed was comfy and clean looking. Decent hotel for the most part . Maybe just a bad day for us. Also room was said to have a city view. We saw nothing of city. Only a courtyard n other side of building out window !"

"Switches for lights are not easy to find, no ice, towels would be more accessible if they were on the shelf on the wall, no microwave, no indoor pool. For the price of the hotel, I was surprised there was no pool and microwave. What was great: food, breakfast and dinner, it’s a clean and quiet place, close to Union train/metro station. "

"Having the available parking arrangement was a big plus when driving there. Pricey, but you have in and out privileges, its all day and overnight, so no need to worry about moving the car or finding a different parking garage... etc etc. That and the security of your car makes the price worth it. Overall an amazing place to stay when going to DC. Was able to walk to basically the entire National Mall from the hotel. And the staff was on point and extremely friendly. "

"Hotel was fine however I was not told that the kitchen for upstairs restaurant stopped serving food an hour before closing time. I had I known I would’ve gone to another restauran. Also, the server failed to mention that a gratuity of TWENTY PERCENT had already been added to my check for the single beer I ordered. I was ended up tipping 40% on a beer. One of my hair clips also went missing after my room was serviced on the first night. "
