This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood within blocks of George Washington University. The hotel is a little dated, but the rooms are spacious and have everything you could want. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and happy to help with anything. I would definitely stay here again especially as a family.

This was a very pleasant Inn. The staff are extremely friendly and the accommodations were comfortable. I plan to return next January as the neighborhood has so many accessible stores in walking distance. I no longer drive so a cab ride to museums, etc affordable. The on site restaurant is on par with great Italian restaurants in NYC. I had cooking facilities so only ate there once but I've let others know of the quality go the menu.

The River Inn has the nicest staff I think I’ve ever encountered. Every single person working there was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond - they all seem to genuinely enjoy working there. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fine, a bit outdated, but it met my needs just fine.
