「very steep stairs leading to rooms. Property is showing signs of wear and tear. We received emails regarding questions of access and connection to after-hours staff after we left!!! The room was clean and well stocked but showed its age. there is a much better option 10 minutes up the road for almost half the price. There are no extra amenities to speak of . Basically, there are only 2 options within the village and thus, this one is overpriced. Stay in Haliburton or Bracebridge instead.」

There was an unpleasant smell after flushing the toilet,so we kept the bathroom fan running and the door closed. They advertised a "beach" but they have a different definition of beach than I do. 「We booked our stay in advance and it fell on the weekend of a huge snow storm 3 feet. Power went out as well. But we had heat thankfully, and owners had a generator. They kept the driveways clear of snow. The view was picturesque. It was peaceful fun. 」

There are plenty of water activities available to take part in (paddle board, canoes, and kayak). We would stay here again. 」
