「Lovely find with a lovely view of the Mississippi River tributary」

「Front desk staff do it all but do it well. Kept up with breakfast and keeping everything stocked. Breakfast had a good selection. Nice place for the price.」

「This hotel was great. Breakfast was better than the average hotel serves. Everything was fresh. All areas of the hotel were clean. Our room was comfortable and welcoming. Staff was helpful especially Taylor.」

「The room smelled moldy, dewy, musky. It was a horrific smell. Good thing it didn’t rain. We had to only sleep in the room and it was hard enough to sleep in the room because of the smell. It was horrific, didn’t complain to staff because it was busy because of fishing tournament going on. Left early on check out day because we couldn’t handle it anymore.」

「If you love the sound of train horns blaring at close proximity all night long every half hour or so, then this place is for you! The awful sleep is enough to rank this super low. The pond and inflatable wibit are a hit with the kids though, and the private cabins are clean enough and air conditioned. Hotels.com should have listed up front before booking that you must BRING YOUR OWN LINENS. We were lucky that we had some random sleeping bags and pillows with us or we would have had to buy...

「This is a solid 3 out of 5 stars. The pool and whirlpool is nice to have but we didn't use them. The pool room is very basic and not particularly inviting. The workout room and breakfast area are also fairly small and basic. Breakfast is the the standard fare of make your own waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage, and biscuits & gravy. My bed was squeaky and noisy as all heck.」

「It basically was a place to sleep. Could hear noise from other rooms. Was ok kept. Pay the extra money if you want a nicer hotel.」

「Really unique hotel and rooms. We were in Room 101 which is 1 king bed in a bedroom with a door that closes and 1 double-bed sofa sleeper in the living room. The wet bar area was very cute, had a dorm-room sized refg/freezer combo, microwave and coffee maker and had a high-top table and two chairs adjacent in its own nook. The living room was spacious as well -- the sofa bed plus 1 oversized comfortable chair for TV-watching. A big surprise in Room 101 was the jetted whirlpool tub in a nook...

「After check in, no one on property to assist with questions or issues. Office door locked when we checked out so no opportunity to let staff know about plumbing issues. Earplugs were complimentary at check-in and needed for the many trains passing by through the nite. Had a suite but the hot tub provided was "out of order ".」
