"Hotel and grounds have definitely not been updated in a very long time. The pics are probably from when the hotel opened and are not accurate at this time. Found someone’s night cap behind the bedside table and small ants in the room. Staff was very nice and had an enjoyable time in the bar area. Excellent seafood quesadillas!"

"This property is amazing! It is completely unique and so relaxing! We stayed in a raised hut. The view was gorgeous! It simply cannot be beat! "Not a bad place to stay but not a lot of choices for dining around the area unless you want to pay tourism prices. We found the food at the hotel to suffice just perfectly and it was very reasonable. We did eat at the local Fish Fry (Twin Brothers) and were later told locals get mostly fish with a side of rice and plantains whereas we had a small piece of scrap fish with a ton of rice…..that’s how tourists get treated which was disappointing. "
