「This is a great property on a steep hill. Owner Lyndsay was VERY helpful and provided an introduction to the property even volunteering to help me with luggage. The site is walking distance from the downtown area.」

「It’s a stunning, unique hotel. One great way to keep the wrong people from visiting? Tell them that there are no televisions in the rooms! From my perspective, that’s a big plus! And it signals that this hotel, combines luxury, history, and is aimed at the type of traveler who did not come to watch TV..」

「Bare minimum, tight wade, 1 roll of TP, 5 sheets of paper towel. Needed a good cleaning or maid to come and really get it up to par. It was like I stayed at a friend's house and they gave me thier sons room to sleep in. So weird.」

All the staff... every single one of them in maintenance, housekeeping, reception, bartenders, servers, culinary staff are so welcoming, amazing and so kind. 「The Island View was charming, the views were fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive! We had an earlier morning and they were very kind to make us a breakfast to go. Food was great! If I had to come up with any complaint it would be that the pool (shaded for a good portion of the day) was a bit chilly, but my husband didn’t mind that.」
