"The room was clean vut the hotel looks run down it needs some TLC, the staff where super friendly and the breakfast was good"

"Unfortunately I booked a standard room, so the minibar in my room did not come stocked with any drinks or snacks. More importantly, I did not notice till the evening before checking out that my shower did not produce hot water. Last, the breakfast at Southern Elements was grossly overpriced. Base price for 2 people was more than $80 dollars, and the breakfast itself was nothing spectacular. The restaurant also neglected to return my credit card upon paying the bill, a fact I did not notice till I tried to pay admission to the botanical gardens. Huge waste of time and money that I found very annoying"

"Room smelled like smoke. Remote didn’t work. Half of the plugs did not work. Door lock was loose. Pretty rough overall. Cheap yes but don’t stay unless you really just need to sleep and don’t have money to spend. "

"I have reached out to the hotel twice to let them know they overcharged me for valet and have not gotten a single response. Put a bad taste in my mouth after an otherwise lovely stay. "

"Staff was very courteous and AC worked great. My stay was not pleasant however; there were pubic hairs left on toilet seat and a huge hole in bathroom door made by what I can only assume was a fist, left me with a “bad taste”. The property is worn down and while. Pictures online are very deceiving, It shows an updated unit and what I received can only be described as a dump. I would re-evaluate your marketing and provide adequate photos as to not deceive the next persons looking for an affordable stay in Decatur . I understood that I was sacrificing comfort for affordability but this place really took Roach motel to a new level. 1/10 - would highly not recommend. "

"The room was very clean and matched the online description. There are NO directions once you arrive at the facility to help you find your room. The microwave did the new stupid lock feature to protect children and ate our glass dish we had brought with us on the night of arrival. We notified maintenance/host, but when we checked out 2 days later, the microwave still had our dish and zero response from maintenance. My MAIN complaint is the lack of instructions telling you how to get to anything in this apartment complex. Outside of that, I can live with losing a dish."
