SUSAN THE OWNER TOLD ME AS I FINISHED MY FULL SCOTTISH BREAKFAST HAGGIS INCLUDED LOL. HAD A 1 NIGHT STAY FOR WORK AND COULD NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING REALLY. VERY ATTENTIVE STAFF. 「We spent one evening and night at The Ship Inn as part of our Golden Wedding Celebrations. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, the environment was welcoming, staff professional and friendly, rooms very clean and comfortable and breakfast perfect, giving more than adequate veggie options.」

「A very good hotel, with motorcycle parking right outside. The staff were very good, the rooms are very clean and in excellent condition. Breakfast was good, and cooked fresh to order. The hotel was better than expected and we would stop there again.」

「We had a great stay at Hamilton House – very friendly owners, spotlessly clean property, large comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Really useful having the car park at the back for our motorcycles, out of sight and under cameras. 15 minute walk in to town. Dumfries is a great base for exploring the area, highly recommended, we will be back!」

「Rooms were very clean and ensuite we only stayed 1 night as a stop over and would use again, a large communal kitchen and tv room even though there were tvs in the rooms, very quiet and relaxung 」
