Trickle Creek Lodge

4/10 Poor

"Unfortunately this was not a good experience here. The hottub was down, which was frustrating but out of my control. As we checked in the property is very run down, which is unfortunate as it could be incredibly beautiful. The hallways smelled like backed up sewer and the room smelled like mildew and old cigarettes. The carpet in the room was stained and very run down dirty. I will not be returning here and would recommend that they do some upkeep to this beautiful property. Very poor experience"

"Everything was clean, comfortable, and quieter than many other motel locations in Cranbrook (there was a bit of noise from traffic noise alongside the air conditioner, but that last one can be turned off). Staff were respectful and friendly and the room was surprisingly spacious! I didn't have any issues with unwelcome scents or cleaning products as some reviews mention, though I did bring my own hand soap and didn't have the room cleaned during my stay. The drawbacks to some might be that there is only a Keurig coffee machine, there's no microwave, and that the upper rooms can only be accessed by a staircase. You will need a car to access most of the city, as well. Overall a comfy and easy stay. This is a motel I would stay in again!"

"We had a great stay with a welcoming and friendly hostess. The included breakfast is outstanding with a variety of fresh and quality ingredients, a rare find these days. They have ebikes at their guests disposal. The on-site restaurant serves tapa-style food cooked by a chef in an open kitchen. The food was delicious. The hotel is walking distance to the pedestrian shopping zone and to the mine tours and a quick drive to the ski hill"

"This is a lovely, quaint hotel in downtown Cranbrook. The rooms are completely renovated and very comfortable. The shower is large and has a rainfall shower head which was great. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is walking distance to many nice restaurants, so we did not need to drive everywhere. I would highly recommend."

"Hot tub broken, no elevator only stairs @ 74 years old with luggage not easy. Air conditioner had a very loud squeal so couldn’t use at night cause sound wouldn’t let you sleep. Cleaned room on 2nd day and took used towels but did not leave any to replace them and went to call front desk and phone did not work. Very disappointed ☹️"
