"This is a wonderful pet-friendly property that has been my go-to hotel when visiting Orange County. The pet-friendly rooms I have stayed in are located in the "Silo" Building which are in front of the train tracks - the trains are not an issue at all. I notice them if I am by the pool, but in the rooms I do not. Bed is comfortable, room is spacious. A little dark but just turn on all the lighting available (I prefer natural light).
Check-in was easy as usual although the front desk staff really didn't seem to care to be there. Hospitality was a bit lacking but whatever, maybe it was a bad day... At least greet the guests with a smile and a friendly demeanor.
The property itself is great. Easy access to "dog" friendly grassy areas. Small pool area that is well kept and never busy. Food access next door and across the way. If you have a car it's easy to get around and there are tons of options for food, shopping and activities.
Breakfast is included - a nice bonus. Nothing fancy, but there is something for everyone.
I've always been impressed with the size of the rooms and how "fresh" and clean the rooms are. However, on this last visit I noticed the bathtub was not quite "clean" with "dirty" spots and smudges that I had to clean myself and was able to wash away before using the shower. The tub also needed resurfacing and the hardware replaced as it's seen better days.
LQI is worth staying at if you have a furbaby and want affordable, safe and pretty clean"
"A total surprise - this is a wonderful hotel and we will be coming back. The food was outstanding at the restaurant and the details, like the artwork in the hallways and lobby areas were impressive. Great pool area, workout room and check in was courteous and yummy (cookies). "
