「What a great place to spend five days in Monteverde. The vibe at Cabanas La Pradera was wonderful. As other posters have stated, the family that operate this place are a big reason for this. The property is good for walking and birding, the cabins are comfortable and secluded, the pool area is a good place to hang out, and the coffee is REALLY good at the breakfast room. 「The staff were incredible and so helpful. The cabins are open air; just screen windows, so if you hate being damp, this is not the place for you. There are also a lot of ants, so don't leave ANY crumbs unattended. Location and garden were amazing... 「The room was very clean and nice, although there was a big crack under the door so a lot of little critters could come in which was kinda cute with the exception of a scorpion that stung my boyfriend.
