「We had a wonderful stay here. Mike and Peggy are fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was cosy and absolutely perfect for a few nights away. The bathroom is small but definitely usable and didn’t cause any issues at all. Mike makes a fresh breakfast each morning, which was absolutely delicious and a real highlight of our stay. 「Great stay - entry was easy and without any fuss. The room is large and bed was great, ample power points with USB A and C. We stayed overnight on the way to Loch Ness Marathon - will be back during the daytime to visit the rewinding centre properly, as it looked really interesting. Good parking at the main car park, with EV chargers - a great perk in the not-so-well-served highlands 」

「A very cosy house right in the heart of Fort Augustus. The living room was lovely with the fireplace, though we forgot to ask for more firewood and it got a bit cold at night. It was very peaceful—I think we were the only guests! The room is small if you're travelling with luggage, but very comfortable and warm. The bathroom was perfectly adequate. Breakfast was basic but decent.」
