"Nice place, only an overnight stay. A slight walk from the main road if you're on foot, under 10 mins. No direct transport from Newton Abbot station but if you fancy a 30-minute walk it's not a bad route. On the tip end of River Teign and quite scenic with a nice outdoor garden. Guessing you can take dogs in as they have a dog wash on site :) Restaurant and bar has some good choices."

"Room was great, loved the location. The food was amazing. Didn't have breakfast as left early. But had an evening meal and it was fantastic"

"Staff were amazing lady on front desk was brilliant barman really nice Didn't use dinning room but food looks good Room needs a little more care found items from previous guests left Also don't replenish items have to go and ask at reception for any extra No onside parking did manage to park in the street and as we used the local buses wasn't an issue but high summer maybe isn't great Evening entertainment every night was a bonus bar prices reasonable"

"We received a very warm welcome from Lin and, for the one night that we stayed, we found the top floor bedroom cosy, well equipped and immaculately clean. The freshly cooked breakfast was very tasty. We enjoyed our stay."

"A mixed review from me. Parking was £10 a night. Windows were filthy.Swimming pool was closed. Most draught beers were out of stock.The over bath shower had a curtain. No biscuits, only 6 milk sachets and curtain rail not connected at one end. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets. So disappointed overall for a claimed 4star hotel."
