"Welcoming host and tasty homemade breakfast. Stanhope is an interesting location right on a lovely lake. Victorian style house nice, room small (no closet), bathroom in need of updating, TV offered only minimal streaming and mostly didn't connect to devices. Could use a refresh."
"It is very convenient to NYC or any place in NJ, also to Philadelphia. The room is very big and there is a table inside, which is good for a family with children. The place is quiet and the staff are very nice. It is a great place to stay."

"Our stay at The Swiftwater was absolutely wonderful. The entire property was exceptionally clean, and the service was top-notch. Staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly. One of the highlights was the peaceful atmosphere at the pool in the evenings. Children were not allowed in the pool area after 5 or 6 PM, which created a relaxing, adult-friendly environment, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommended!

"The property is well designed and maintained and our unit was very secluded and peaceful. This is a great location to rewind, relax and recharge both body and soul. The staff went over and beyond in being helpful and considerate. Best pool guy in the world. Thank you for an outstanding weekend stay."
"The Staff were great and the front desk person did what she could to help.
The property does have a large parking lot in the back for large trucks. There was a restaurant/bar attached to the hotel, but it was closed on Sundays.
The hotel is undergoing some renovations so the property looks a little ragged at the moment. A bit of trash around the parking lots. The property is right by the highway and there is construction going on so a little noisy that didn't go as far as the rooms. Nothing else much around the property besides a cemetery on one side and possibly apartments on the other.
Rooms were spacious, nicely furnished, and comfortable. The first room wasn't adequately cleaned, so we were immediately given another room which turned out fine.
Overall, it was worth the money and served our purposes. I would stay again.
