MY awesome weekend

Place was pretty legit. The pool is awesome and the bathtub is huge. Great for bubble bath and body relaxation. Great hotel. Will stay again

It’s not a 5 star hotel. But the price is adorable and the staff was very nice and attentive if needed. Not updated but Perfect location to anywhere you need to go. Would stay at again.

Location, Location

Stayed here a few time because of its location to the Strousburg and the Gap! Being able to walk to the trailhead, fishing, restaturants/bars, coffee shops and senic views outweights any defect in my eyes as long as its clean. The hotel needs some updating but based on location and price, its fine.

I Was Skeptical When I Read Some Of The Reviews, It Was A Mix Of Good And Bad, But I Gotta Tell You, My Experience Was Great. The room was very clean and nicely kept, the beautiful lady at the front desk was very helpful, the pool was nice and clean, I really enjoyed my stay here

Basic Room

Basic and simple hotel room. Room was clean but the ceiling had some water stains on both sides and tbe red chair jn the riom seemed a bit old and worn. Bed a d pillows were comfy. Microwave and small fridge in the room was conveinent. Door was a bit loud when you opened or closed it and the lock was a little rusty but we didnt have ang safey concerns. We were also able to check in a couple hours early for a $20 fee (which i think was fair) and that helped hs a lot. Also, hitel is pet friendly and we traveled with a small dog (extra $25) so that was conveinent so.

The FIRST room we had, the pillow cases were dirty and we found a piece of hair on one of the pillows. The SECOND room we had smelled like someone had just smoked a pack of cigarettes and this hotel is supposed to be SMOKE FREE, not to mention water on the floor from the air conditioner. We ended up with a room on the Clarion Inn & Suites side - which wasn’t the best room but it was better than the first two rooms we were given. The next time we visit the Stroudsburg/Poconos area we will NOT be staying here!!! I guess you really get what you pay for and we will not stay at another Roadway Inn & Suites OR Clarion Inn & Suites ANYWHERE! A couple of good things came out of this. There’s a Dunkin Donuts in the same parking lot as the hotel, great BBQ place, soft serve ice cream/homemade pies place and a place to go kayaking all in walking distance.

Weekend away

Clean and comfortable, could use some updating, but overall, not bad for the price - one-night stay with friends - wasn't as close to the Sherman Theatre as I would have liked.
